Message from Mr.Bax

Being physically active and sports has always been a huge part of my life and I’m excited to share this passion with the students at St. George as the Physical Education teacher. I grew up in St. Elizabeth, MO and my family and I have lived in Linn and been a part of the St. George parish for five years now. I have a Bachelor’s in Business from Lincoln University and a Master’s in Business Administration from William Woods University. My previous work has primarily been in the business sector, but I have always stayed active in coaching and playing sports, including pitching lessons for local kids and teams, assistant coach for Helias baseball, and coaching my own girls’ teams. I am truly excited to have the opportunity to openly share the teachings of the Catholic faith with the kids during our time together. I grew up Catholic, but spent ten years studying in the Protestant faith, which ultimately led me back to the Catholic Church and I feel this experience offers me a great perspective to help the children learn and grow in their own faith. My wife and I have three daughters who attend St. George – Claire, Macy and Hannah and our fourth daughter is due in August.
